I've even tried my laptop versus two different desktops. I've tried Ultimate edition from origin, The first Decade, and the original retail discs separately. I used to never have these issues until I picked the game back up recently. The game will simply crash if I alt+tab out twice. Uninstalled, Reinstalled game, reformatted entire drive, fresh install of windows 10 64bit, and increased virtual memory to ungodly amounts (60GB).
"Tried" to set permissions of folders to "Not read only" but they go right back.
I've disabled Windows Defender, turned off DEP (Data Execution Prevention) entirely. I'm getting the exact same error code after crashing mid game (maybe 10 minutes if that). People are going to hate me for bringing this this thread back to life but this is an issue that I'm absolutely sick of.
